EfDI evolved from the Nigeria country program of TechnoServe Inc., an international development organization in 1999. TechnoServe operated in Nigeria for 10 years before ceding its portfolio to EfDI in 1999. With over 20 years of combined experience, EfDI continues to build on this legacy, supporting grassroots organizations and promoting sustainable livelihoods.

Our Strategy

EfDI's strategy sets the pace and direction for community and economic development in Nigeria and West Africa. We aim to inspire elected officials, policymakers, and citizens to make informed choices that guide growth while preserving community competitiveness and livability.
